Local merchants place their advertisements and special offers in the Spotlightbiz.com internet directory or (on line business shopping center) of local, printable and electronic (phone or device) redeemable coupons. Consumers go to the Spotlightbiz.com website just prior to going shopping, entering their zip code, city or business name and find the deals in their local area, even on the go, from their phone (On internet ready phones and devices).

Spotlightbiz.com is FREE to Merchants, thats right FREE! They only thing required to keep it running is  Merchant Membership dues to cover on line maintenance and promotion costs. We plan to spend 60% of the collected dues to aggressively promote the Spotlightbiz.com website to consumers, thereby greatly increasing the audience size and value to Spotlightbiz.com advertisers.

Does Spotlightbiz.com list coupon codes for online shopping?

No. There are many websites set up for that purpose. Spotlightbiz.com's focus is on printable coupons that shoppers can print and bring into physical stores, restaurants, or use for local services. However, some franchises may only feature promotional discounts with confirmation codes, for you to redeem. Some local businesses may also have websites with online shopping while promoting their websites, including promotion codes, along with their other coupon listings.

When will Spotlightbiz.com be open to consumers?

The exact launch date for the shopper site has not been set, but it will be posted here when it is. We are waiting for Merchant completion so please, get your business up today. At this time, we are estimating the launch to be approximately in mid year 2012.  For this reason, we encourage merchants to post coupons with long-term, or no, expiration date. If all of your coupons are very limited in term, you may want to establish your account now to take advantage of this service and then wait until you are notified of the public launch. We encourage the merchant not to miss our promotional launch, or grand opening, as this will be a shopping frenzy event that will allow your business to be viewed by all.

I just applied for my Membership. What is the process?

When you place your ad,  and it is approved and published, a verification email will be sent to you.  You will be contacted for merchant membership dues processing and  be a Spotlightbiz.com and Spotlightbizjobs.com member and can use all its features.

How do I get started?

You can:

Click the blue JOIN NOW tab at the top of the page, and follow the instructions - 

STEP ONE:

Filling out and include all your nessesary ad information ,( Logo, Business Information, History, Description, Photos, and Coupon Information) (1-4) 1 is required with an overall discount (to insure there is something for everyone).

STEP TWO:

When all your information is entered hit continue to see and proof read your ad. 

STEP THREE:

If you need to make changes, you can fix it by hitting the edit button, to go back. Make your nessesary changes and then hit continue to view and proof read again. If everything looks good, hit submit, and your done, that sends it to us for processing.

APPROVED:If everything is approved your ad will be published and you will be contacted.

DENIED:If there is anything missing or improper you will be denied, and have to resubmit. (If denied we will e-mail you with the reason for denial for you to correct and resubmit.) If you need assistance please go to, the  Contact Us tab at the top of the page, to be contacted.
